MT. JOY MERCH DESIGN
One of my favorite bands of all time hosted a design contest.
Obviously I was going to enter.
“Astrovan” is the name of Mt. Joy’s first released song. When I was planning my design, I knew I wanted to use an astrovan and a mountain (for Mount Joy...ha).
The day I submitted my design via Instagram, the band reached out to me saying they had never received so many messages from fans. That night, Mt. Joy’s manager called me and we made a deal. I mocked up shirts and sweatshirts in multiple colors and they had a contest to determine which colors were most wanted. Two days later, the winning items were for sale on their website.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.
